CRY - To shed tears; to weep.
GEL - A semi-solid to almost solid colloid of a solid and a liquid, such as jelly, cheese or opal.
LEG - The lower limb of a human being or animal that extends from the groin to the ankle.
RYE - Caraway (from the mistaken assumption that the whole seeds, often used to season rye bread, are the rye itself).
LYE - A strong caustic alkaline solution of potassium or sodium salts, obtained by leaching wood ashes. It is much used in making soap as well as its use in biodiesel.

RELY - To rest with confidence, as when fully satisfied of the veracity, integrity, or ability of persons, or of the certainty of facts or of evidence; to have confidence; to trust; to depend.
LYRE - A stringed musical instrument.
CLERGY - Body of persons, such as ministers, priests and rabbis, who are trained and ordained for religious service.
