LEAF - The usually green and flat organ that represents the most prominent feature of most vegetative plants.
LEAN - To hang outwards.
FLAN - Baked tart with sweet or savoury filling in an open-topped pastry case (the only meaning in UK).
FALLEN - Past participle of fall.
FLANNEL - A soft cloth material woven from wool, possibly combined with cotton or synthetic fibers.
