ACT - Something done, a deed.
BAT - Any of the small, nocturnal, flying mammals of the order Chiroptera, which navigate by means of echolocation. They look like a mouse with membranous wings extending from the forelimbs to the hind limbs or tail. Altogether, there are about 1,000 bat species in the world.
BOB - To move gently and vertically, in either a single motion or repeatedly up and down, at or near the surface of a body of water.
CAB - A taxi; a taxicab.
CAT - Any similar animal of the family Felidae, which includes lions, tigers, bobcats, etc.
TAB - A small flap or strip of material attached to something, for holding, manipulation, identification, etc.
BOA - Any of a group of large American snakes, of the genus Boa, including the boa constrictor, the emperor boa of Mexico, and the chevalier boa of Peru.
BOT - The larva of a bot fly, which infests the skin of various mammals, producing warbles, or the nasal passage of sheep, or the stomach of horses.
COB - A male swan.
OAT - Widely cultivated cereal grass, typically Avena sativa.
BOAT - A craft used for transportation of goods, fishing, racing, recreational cruising, or military use on or in the water, propelled by oars or outboard motor or inboard motor or by wind.
COAT - An outer garment covering the upper torso and arms.
TACO - A Mexican snack food; a small tortilla with some rice, beans, cheese, diced vegetables (usually tomatoes and lettuce, as served in the United States) and salsa.
ABBOT - A layman who received the abbey's revenues, after the closing of the monasteries.
BOBCAT - A North American wild cat, Lynx rufus, having tufted ears and a short tail.
